With 14,000 season tickets already sold, Orlando City’s impressive new $100m stadium looks a fitting venue for former world player of the year Ricardo Kaka to continue strutting his stuff in the Florida metropolis.
Located within walking distance of the city’s bar district, the 25,500 capacity arena will feature a safe-standing supporters’ section. A low slanted roofline will amplify crowd noise to help create a sensational atmosphere in the downtown venue. The privately-funded ground will be open to play in summer 2016. The Lions are currently playing in the Citrus Bowl and have the second highest average attendance in MLS.
