Póg Mo Goal X OFFSET Present OFFSIDE – Behind the Scenes with Printiprinter


With the European Championships coming up this Summer, Póg Mo Goal has commissioned international and Irish designers to produce a series of match-day posters for the Republic of Ireland’s three group games in France.

The OFFSIDE exhibition will take place at The Square Ball 45 Hogan Place, in Dublin on March 31st as part of OFFSITE, a brand new fringe festival as part of the design conference, OFFSET which will take place in Dublin from the 8th to the 10th of April 2016.

Featuring designs by Post (Dublin), Workgroup (Dublin), Indigo & Cloth (Dublin), Printiprinter (London), Stephen McCarthy (London), Josh Parkin (Huddersfield), Instruct (Manchester), Geo Law (Sheffield), Hort (Berlin), Kessels Kramer (Amsterdam), Snask (Stockholm), Vasava (Barcelona), Jorge Lawerta (Valencia) Matteo Cuccato (Peschiera del Garda, Italy) and Oz Casanova (Vicenza, Italy).

One of the designers has given us a sneak peek behind the scenes of how he created his amazing print.

Printiprinter is the slowest football results service in the world. An ongoing project, started by Steven Qua, to hand carve and print every result for Liverpool FC. The Last 200 games have been documented. The rest of the time Steven is a Director/designer making TV idents, title sequences, and other things that move around a screen.
