Nike’s EURO 2016 football advert is here and it’s epic. Starring Cristiano Ronaldo, the brilliant twist on movies like the Change Up sees the Portuguese star collide with a ball boy and their abilities are swapped.
Ronaldo and Portugal Rout Ireland
World-Cup bound Portugal dished out a 5-1 drubbing to a weakened Irish team in New York as Martin O’Neill suffered his heaviest defeat. Cristiano Ronaldo’s side were too much for a defence in disarray, missing first choice regulars with James McClean pulling one back to sign off Ireland’s end-of-season tour. Portugal, ranked fourth in the world, move on to Brazil.

The Crying Game: Ronaldo, Pelé Awarded Ballon d’Or
Cristiano Ronaldo, who grew up in poverty in Madeira, gave an emotional speech as he accepted the FIFA Ballon d’Or, crowning him as the world’s best player for a second time. There were tears too for Brazilian legend Pelé, who was awarded an honorary trophy. Meanwhile Zlatan Ibrahimovic took the Puskas award for the best goal of 2013 for his outrageous bicycle kick against England.
