MLS 2018 Kits

With a new season comes new kits, and MLS has dropped some beauties. A league-wide deal with Adidas means all clubs are supplied by the brand with the three stripes, an agreement which has been extended to 2024.

With each design comes some classy touches that make each shirt pop.

LA Galaxy’s sash remains and their five MLS titles are commemorated by a golden star about the crest. San Jose Earthquakes’ away shirt sports a Navy Seal logo on the back of the neck as the club;s charity partner. Seattle Sounders; ‘Rave Green’ shirt features a brush stroke pattern that is different on every single jersey.

Columbus Crew, a founding member of the league in 1996, have included a charter member #01 badge on their all black kit to signal that status. Philadelphia Union’s new crest adorns their navy top. New York City FC’s away jersey is a different colourway of the Colombia shirt from the upcoming World Cup. And across the Hudson, New York Red Bulls have released an all red top for their fans.

Toronto FC finished top of the pile in 2017 winning their first MLS Cup title. The Canadian outfit also added the Supporters Shield. Two new clubs joined the league last season as the 21st and 22nd expansion franchises, Atlanta United FC and Minnesota United. This year they’ve been joined by Los Angeles FC. Most betting sites make Toronto favourites to defend their league crown with Atlanta United, Seattle Sounders, Portland Timbers and New York City FC all tipped to mount the biggest challenges.
