The World Cup gear is arriving thick and fast this week, and following the launch of Italy’s home and away shirts, comes PUMA’s unveiling of the Brazil 2014 kits for Cameroon, Ghana, Algeria, Switzerland, and Chile. The new jerseys will be worn for the first time in tonight’s series of international friendlies.
PUMA has revealed the new national kits for its eight partnered teams heading to Brazil this summer. The home and away kits for Italy, Switzerland, Algeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Chile and Uruguay were all released this week with each federation wearing their new strips today for their friendly games as they prepare for the FIFA World Cup.
All the national team shirts feature PUMA’s new football apparel innovation PWR ACTV, a first-to-market use of both athletic taping and compression within the clothing. The ACTV tape is strategically placed within the garment to provide micro-massages on the skin, working with the human body to help maximise performance and provide players with a faster, more effective energy supply to the active muscles. This combined with the underarm mesh inserts for increased breathability and freedom of movement, will help PUMA’s teams’ have a competitive advantage at this year’s World Cup.
