Here’s a stat: Robbie Keane is at No.2 in the Premier League’s all-time top scorers in matches taking place on a Sunday with 39.

The top of the list is: Thierry Henry – 46, Robbie – 39, Alan Shearer & Jermain Defoe – 36, Emile Heskey and Wayne Rooney – 35

Set to lead the Republic into their first finals for ten years and first European Championships since 1988, when the Tallaghtman finally hangs up his boots, history will judge Robbie Keane in the greatest light.

Robbie has scored 53 goals for his country making him the all-time record Irish goalscorer. He is rated the 25th highest  in the world on the list of international players with over 50 goals . With 114 full caps, he is Ireland’s second most capped player of all time. He is the tenth highest goalscorer in the history of the Premier League with 123 goals (and counting) and is the ninth highest goalscorer in Tottenham Hotspur history.
