Former US national team boss Bob Bradley becomes the first American coach of a European top-flight club as he takes charge of Norwegian outfit Stabaek. This is a pretty cool introductory video.
The 55-year-old was at one point linked with the Irish manager’s job having coached Egypt in an ultimately unsuccessful bid to reach Brazil 2014. He turned down a chance to coach the Vancouver Whitecaps in MLS having previously coached Chicago Fire, New York and Chivas USA before stepping into the international sphere with the USA and Egypt.
Stabaek were recently promoted to Norway’s Tippeligaen top flight, a division they won back in 2008.
