Sunday League - A Short Football Documentary
“There’s something majestic about the 40 year old man with his enormous gut shoved into a twenty year old acryllic strip.”
Sunday League is a documentary that followed the plights of several Sunday football teams across England over the course of a season as they took to the muddy fields and parks to play this not so beautiful version of the beautiful game. This film focuses more on the people who play, rather than the sport itself and asks the question ‘Why do Sunday Footballers keep coming back week after week?’
