Nike have released the Dutch away shirt for the World Cup in Brazil celebrating the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Dutch Football Association.

Inspired by water, the blue in the design also signifies the Dutch royal family and the colour of the cross in the official flag. To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the KNVB, the kit features a new enlarged crest, with the orange lion symbolizing the new era in Dutch football. The bigger badge pays homage to the traditional crest used since 1907 until the 60s and 70s.

The blue pattern cascades to become imperial purple on the shorts and socks.  The fit is slimmer and more tailored to the body with a cut specifically designed to aid movement and comfort. The shorts feature Nike’s signature laser vents to aid in cooling and allow for moisture management.
