Amazing scenes from the Argentinian El Superclásico as River Plate create history and eliminate rivals Boca Juniors in a knock-out game for the first time in their history. The Estadio Monumental was a sea of red and white as both teams made spectacular entrances to flares and fireworks. After a scoreless tie in the 1st leg in Boca’s La Bombonera stadium, River Plate’s Leonardo Pisculichi stepped up in the 15th minute to score the decisive goal in the Buenos Aires derby.
River will face Atlético Nacional for the Copa Sudamericana 2014 Final in a two legged affair beginning on the 3rd of December and concluded on the 10th.
