Irish Freestylers Teaching Tricks of the Trade

He’s the ‘legendary keepy-upper’ in the new Stage-Fright video prank but Dara Coyne is one half of the Irish YourHowToDo group bringing freestyle football skills to the masses.

Dara Coyne and Brendan Brady from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, are the YouTube sensations teaching the skills of Ronaldo, Neymar, Ronaldinho etc. in video tutorials racking up millions of hits worldwide.

“We create videos about football and freestyle football, mainly tutorials, collaborations with other creators, training or practising videos, and travel vlogs. We’ve generated almost 12 million views and over 55,000 subscribers since we started in 2011 to date,” says Dara.

There are dozens of videos showcasing dribbles, sits, flick-ups and ground move tutorials to teach aspiring players the tricks and skills demonstrated by the game’s top stars and subscribers are asked to submit their own footage putting the lessons into practice.

In addition, there’s a host of mesmerising footage showing freestyle battles from around the world. The Subscriber Sunday videos are a compilation of clips submitted by the channel’s viewers (above).

The videos also demonstrate specific skills attributed to flair players of the world game including Cristiano Ronaldo, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Falcao, Berbatov, and Neymar.
