PUMA kicked off its 2014 Nature of Believing campaign with the launch of the revolutionary new evoPOWER football boot at a live event in Barcelona. The evoPOWER 1 is designed to mimic barefoot kicking while the sportswear giant has enlisted the help of Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Mario Balotelli, and Marco Reus.
evoPOWER is a new performance boot designed to enhance a player’s natural kicking ability, and optimise power and accuracy when striking the ball. Inspired by the power generated from the freedom of barefoot kicking, evoPOWER features the most advanced PUMA footwear technologies to date in its football category, and will be worn on pitch by Cesc Fàbregas, Marco Reus, Mario Balotelli, Yaya Touré, Nemanja Vidic, Dante and many others.
The evoPOWER is designed to give the natural power and accuracy of barefoot kicking with the protection of a boot. This is done via…
- AdapLite Upper: A microfibre one-way stretchable upper which allows the foot to bend as much as possible, mimicking the barefoot kicking motion
- AccuFoam: Vamp foam inserts which provide a clean kicking surface
- Pebax outsole & G.S.F (Gradual Stability Frame): Reduce weight while providing gradual flexibility
